We had the most fun we have had in a long time. First, my daughters, 7 and 13, loved the downstairs. My youngest, who typically wants the parents close by, set up shop quickly with all her stuffed animals and took the top bunk. She just loved it. My oldest had a place to escape the adults. The drive to Lake Lure was filled with laughs and very pleasurable. Once we got to the cabin everyone was even more excited about the trip. I took the girls on a climb down the hillside and them we found a place to climb back up to the road leading to the cabin. We followed deer tracks and found an area the deer must have been using to stay at night. Even though they were getting muddy and wet, they loved it. To be away as a family and not be distracted by "things” to do was truly a blessing. Your cabin was the perfect spot for it to happen.

We were so amazed with the cabin the whole Riverbend area, so amazing to just relax in the lake with a raft. To play in the water fall and to be able to raft from the water fall to the old swimming hole was amazing and so much fun. We will be back.

A very peaceful ,private and comfortable cabin that is well taken care of. The inside was just delightful. The hiking trails right outside the door were great for us and our dog. The close proximity to Lake Lure restaurants and Chimney Rock Village was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed the Asheville Farmers Market. All in all, a great trip.

I HIGHLY recommend this cabin. It is so cute and nicely decorated. The carved bears were a hit with the kids. The deck was the favorite spot as the evenings were cool and comfortable and great for grilling dinner. We liked LaStrata restaurant overlooking Lake Lure and had fun in Chimney Rock one day. Most of our time was spent at the cabin and the beach close to the cabin and tubing in the river. Wonderful vacation!

Wonderful location, away from town but close enough to run out to the grocery store. Very clean with a great fireplace. Cant say enough about the beautiful area around the cabin and all of Lake Lure. Very privately situated and very comfortable.
